Enjoyable setting
Cottages were dirty. When we arrived we visited the communal area and it had not been cleaned. We had to clean down the tables ourselves. We were there for four days and the cottages were not maintained at all. There were no clean towels given nor did they empty any bins ANYWHERE. The cottages were infested with bugs and small flies. The place was filth and not worth the money.
Beautiful place, basic cabins, lovely grounds, pool, animals .. very relaxing. Kids love it!
Besides the picturesque views, we did not have a pleasant stay. Firstly, in terms of hygiene, the cottage which we stayed in was full of spiders as soon as we entered. This was horrific as we expected to have a clean accommodation. On top of that, the day we arrived, their spa facility was out of order due to a 'pipe breakage'. The pool was freezing as it's heated through solar energy (and we arrived on a cloudy day). Overall, we had very high expectations of the place as described by the owner and the website but were severely let down.
What a beautiful spot. Friendly owners. Cabins nice, comfy and spacious with your own little outdoor area with bbq and fireplace, play equipment for kids, can't wait to bring my son here next time!
