My wife and I purchased an annual pass, with our 2yr old daughter receiving free entry. We visit once or twice a week and it is always such a great experience. My daughter loves it and can name all the animals (& the noises they make). Really friendly & knowledgeable staff. Good food. The animal talks are great. The annual pass is exceptional value imo. Good job guys????
It is a great zoo with many animals to view and learn about. Worth a trip with the kids. Not cheap but you can spend hours there as we did. Like to see more aboriginal art there. I am sure there are more Chinese sourced trinkets there than last year.
The food is good. We purchased the kids meal and it was more than adequate.
A relatively big zoo. Good collection of animals. Lot of birds in and around the area. First time in life had the chance to see Fennec fox (smallest in the world). And the smallest Penguin. Saw some rare birds. Perfect place to spend time for nature and animal lovers.
Grate place for family. Animal talks are valuable, You can feed and touch Kangaroos, Wallabies, pat Koalas. Kids enjoy interact with animals. Crocodile talk is amazing, see the giant crocodile up close . Also you can see many other grate animals up close . Very friendly staff, nice cafe with friendly staff where you can get coffee, meals. Grate place to be with family, kids will love this place so as grown ups. Keep the good work
Easy to find and plenty of Parking. After entering the establishment we were given maps and plenty of information of where things were and times to see the animals and here the talks for each one.
Big hint. After the talks and people have moved on there is plenty of opportunity to talk to the staff and get a close up of the animals, some for a pat.
Good paths for wheelchair access and nice shaded areas for picnics or hot days.
The cafe wasn't overly stocked for lunchtime crowd as pies and most sandwiches were sold out by 12.30pm. Milkshakes were overpriced and charged an additional $1 for ice cream.
Gift shop was well stocked and reasonably priced, and it was a good day out.
The facilities and park were clean as well as the animal enclosures which was nice to see.
