My son who is in year 5 this year, he hated Maths! Mathematics was his weakness and least favourite topic of all. If he could avoid it he would do anything to avoid it. He never had confidence when it came to Maths. He joined Brain Builder at the beginning of this year, 3 months into it, he would get out his Maths homework and attend to it without being asked. He would log online and attend his online homework everyday without missing a day of it. I can see a huge improvement and he finds his online homework very challenging. Brain Builder has made him enjoy Maths rather than trying to avoid it.
The Brainbuilder English program is outstanding. My two eldest children were lucky enough to learn phonics at their Montessori preschool. Knowing how much of an impact this had later on their reading and spelling we didn’t want our youngest to miss out. When Shirlyn and the team told me about their phonics based English program I enrolled him immediately. It has been nothing short of amazing watching how quickly he went from a beginner reader in Kindergarten to now, 1 year later inhaling chapter book after book at night in bed. He is now the total bookworm we had hoped and I thank Brainbuilder for inspiring this love of reading in our youngest. My eldest two are also enrolled in English which is pre-tested to suit individual level of child and has a focus on building comprehension (including inferential comp), strong vocabulary and exceptional creative writing tools which they can use in High School and beyond. I highly recommend this English program for anyone wanting their children to receive quality, individualised tuition and a very deep and thorough understanding of English Literacy and Language Arts.
Our children have been attending the Maths program at Brainbuilder for a few years now. Honestly it is the single best investment we have made in our kids education. The level of care and quality teaching at BB is like nowhere I have seen. Each child is pre-tested regularly to assess their current level with an emphasis on ensuring retained knowledge before moving onto next level. The BrainBuilder Singapore Math program is an exceptionally deep and lateral dive into Maths and will take your child well beyond the Australian Maths Curriculum. Unlike other large coaching centres that focus on acceleration and test prep, BrainBuilder helps to develop a strong foundation across all areas of Maths, over time building ability to understand and solve extremely complex Maths problems. I recommend BrainBuilder Math if you are frustrated with the Australian curriculum and would like your child to develop deeper and more thorough understanding of Maths and problem solving. The ability to solve complex problems will be one of the most important skills for our kids generation. BrainBuilder can support your child from Kindergarten through to HSC level Math and we intend to take our children right through. I also love that so many girls attend and my daughter is inspired by both the female and male Math teachers they have at BB.
Brainbuilder has supported my children in developing confidence in their Maths and English skills. The friendly and knowledgeable staff provide an individualised service that encourages the children to learn and achieve their personal best. I would like to acknowledge a great appreciation to Brainbuilder holiday program.
Both my children (age 6 and 7) enjoyed the day learning about patterns and basic maths. The coordinator was very patient and provides outstanding positive encouragement to both my kids. After picking them up from the course, we had a journey in the car where they were quizzing each other on maths theory and numbers. They reflected a lot more confidence and interest in numbers.
A big thank you to the Brainbuilder team for an exciting day and looking forward to doing more courses with them in the new year.
