Watched The Last Wife. Great crew and great play. My wife and I have been going to the Ensemble for years, since before we were married. We love the small intimate theatre and the different plays performed.
Saw 'The Last Wife' and it was better than I anticipated. A really interesting piece but unsure about the historical accuracy of some points. Well acted.
Great theatre, with interesting plays. The artistic direction is excellent - it's a good mixture of new plays, standards (Williamson gets a lot of attention), and always truly excellent acting talent. The venue is great; seats are comfortable, good sight lines, and with friendly staff.
I really like this theatre. But the play was a shocker. Bunch of Italians screaming and yelling. So, what else is new. A view from the bridge 0. Zero.
A cosy little theatre with plenty of good shows each season. Tickets are not cheap but because of the size, nearly every seat have good vision of the stage. One of my favourite theatres in Sydney.
