Really good experience.
Jason's a really great teacher.
I recommend it to people who want to learn surfing for the first time.
I booked in for a private lesson for my two children 8 & 10. They were both nervous as they loved the beach but hadn't surfed. Sam and Blake were their instructors and immediately put the kids at ease. They did a few practices on the beach for technique first then set off into the water. The kids stood up quite a few times and absolutely loved it. They have not stopped talking about it.
The day was chilly but GetWet gave them wet suits and rashies so the kids were warm.
I cant recommend this company enough. Your kids are in safe, professional and caring hands the whole time.

We actually just rescheduled our surf lesson due to rough conditions, however, they were so accomodating and made us feel very much at ease with last second change. We can’t wait for our surf lesson later in the year! Thank you for being so honest!

I’m 51 years old with no prior surfing experience. I’m not very fit and not very talented – but I am enjoying myself on a 9’ foam board in the rolling white water.

Wow! Just finished my surf lesson with Get Wet surf school and it has completely changed my life! I was so pessimistic going into the lesson, thinking I was going to suck, but I was so surprised at how well I did, along with the rest of the class in fact! It's a true testament to the coaches teaching ability and hard work.
We surfed at a magical beach called The Spit which had absolutely perfect little waves for us beginners and offered stunning views of Surfers Paradise. It felt like more of a local's spot and was truly a hidden gem! We got to check out the photos that one of the surf coaches took during the lesson, and buy them on a groovy surfboard USB. $25 for over 100 photos, worth every penny! - I've already changed my facebook profile pic!
