Description

We provide experienced and qualified Japanese lessons in Melbourne. We want our students to learn Japanese like native Japanese speakers. We offer group lessons with class size no bigger than 6 people. If you are shy, we also have private lessons too. Our native teachers are super cool and qualified. We trust our method to be faster and as effective as Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid I and II. (The original version, not the Jackie Chan version)

Don't listen to Bryce down there. The teachers are all maybe Japanese, the classes are small to keep it manageable and ensure everyone gets what they come for. I'd rather this cozy group than a lecture hall. Japanese is a very hard language for native English speakers to learn and be competent, so don't go in expecting an 8 week course to prepare you for traveling. Good structure from text and in class has made it very accessible for everyone to learn and build their skills. Not everyone is equal when it comes to learning a language. I've seen the teachers identify when someone hasn't got something and spends time to go over it again. Teachers welcome questions, languages are two way streets.

I cannot comment on the lessons as the welcome and atmosphere when I arrived to get information was enough for me. The staff were not rude but not exactly informative. No offer for a seat while they explained. And explanation was essentially 'we have these books, and look at our prices'. A language school should make you excited to learn. This school did not.

I highly recommend this Language school for people who interested to learn Japanese for their own interests. Teachers in this school are friendly and willing to help students to learn Japanese. I stayed in this language for about half year now and I able to introduce myself, where I come from, how to do shopping in Japan and the most important is I can start read and understand what people saying in Japanese.

I am in the process of moving to Japan and really wanted to get some basic language skills. The teachers are all very professional, friendly and very patient. Classes are structured really well, with plenty of time for questions and help. It was a joy to go to class and I shall value the experience for a very long time. I highly recommend this school if you are looking to start the language in a supportive and fun environment. I heard about this school through word of mouth, and all the reviews were great, I now know why.
