Awesome place for camping. We could feel the nature and look at the stars. Really magical.
Amazing service, super friendly staff always willing to help with suggestions on what hikes to do, would definitely recommend ????
Great glamping. Wonderful staff and delicious food. Really enjoyed my stay here and it's close to some wonderful views
(FYI my review is about 6 months late) My husband and I enjoyed our stay here on our honeymoon and would recommend it as the national park is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. Accom is clean and comfortable and the food is pretty good (they were happy to accommodate our vegan diet & it was still yum). However we both think that "Eco" and "Retreat" are a bit far fetched and a bit of false advertising. We were disappointed that the tents were so close together and ours was very close to the road and restaurant too (not much of a retreat). We were also disappointed in the amount of single-use plastic packaging being used in the likes of tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles (I think of which contain palm oil too or maybe that was the soap), disposable coffee cups, miniature jams, vegemites & other breakfast spreads etc etc. So we think they can definitely and easily be much more environmentally responsible. A part from that, a positive experience though!
Totally not worth it, 20$ person a night (60$ total for us), camping site's floor is to hard to place a tent properly, no tables nearby, the cafe/restaurant's prices are ridiculous 7$ for 1.5L water bottle, 10$ for 5kg of ice and the mains round the 30$.
There's no rubbish bins anywhere around and the toilets are better cleaned in the free camping than in the Eco Retreat, last but not least there's what I believe to be a generator working all night..
The only positive side is the close distance to the gorges, certainly not positive enough to make us go back
