Description

Quality toys are expensive and children quickly become bored with a toy once its play value has been exhausted. By providing new play materials regularly, parents can save money, look after the environment, and significantly contribute towards the development and education of their children. Reasons to join: - New toys all the time without the cost - Save on storage space - Engage and excite your children with a range of toys - Reduce landfill! The toy library is a not-for-profit community organisation run by members, with the assistance of a paid, part-time coordinator. The bulk of our income is derived from membership subscriptions. Members are the lifeblood of the library and keep it going. To help keep membership costs low, we ask each member to volunteer 6 hours per year, either working in the library or undertaking a number of other helpful tasks. Closed Victorian public holidays, long weekends and during January.

Pretty great place to join when saving money. One $170 membership allows you to borrow three toys at a time. The Little tikes rollercoaster is my favourite to borrow!

I used to volunteer at this toy library. It was a pleasure working for Catherine the coordinator, she is kind, supportive and considerate. I am very happy to have her as a referee as she saw and complimented how dedicated I was to helping out. There is a great selection of toys for children aged between 6 months to 10 years. This toy library deserves all the support and funding to stay as the not-for-profit organisation to continue making a positive impact on the Mordialloc community. It was a sad time for me when I had to leave for personal reasons. On my final day, Catherine surprised me with a present to thank me for my efforts to help out. I was very touched by this as I never had this happen to me before. I will never forget the amazing times I had to learn about this place and make a positive contribution to someone who appreciated me. Thank you Catherine for giving me the opportunity to work with you!
