Years before I had my child, I would tell my friends that I wanted to send him/her to a french-immersion school and my wish was for my child to be bilingual.
LLS has given us that and more!
We've been attending classes since 2017, and my daughter enrolled as a full time student in 2018...and a year and half later - she is fully conversant and has such a grasp of the French language, it is incredible! Their progressive approach incorporates all of the important basics of early childhood education - through such innovative ways. The teachers are simply wonderful, all the children really look up to their teachers - they provide such a warm sanctuary. LLS includes the parents and families in every way possible so that there is this connection between home & school for the child.
I truly believe that the years spent at LLS will provide my daughter with a solid foundation to take her to the next steps of her education.
My fourth child is on his second year attending the stellar program offered by LLS. A program which, to my complete astonishment, continues to improve, prefect, and raises the bar so high, it has become virtually impossible for any institution to reach anything remotely comparable to the quality of education which LLS delivers on a daily basis (and trust a mother of 4, who's been around!). For 8 consecutive years, I have witnessed LLS grow, flourish and thrive while thinking “this is it. This is where it peaks!” and then seeing the impossible happen, LLS delivering more, better, growing stronger, peaking again and again. I cannot recommend this gem of a school more to anyone who wishes to enrich their child's life (and brain!) with the gift of a second language (which, beware, may become their first language after a year at LLS!).
Our son attended the maternelle and has participated in various French after school classes through LLS. We think very highly of the quality of the French instruction at LLS as well as its commitment to a progressive pedagogy. LLS nurtures the imaginations, curiosity, and intellects of children, and helps develop their sense of compassion. Students are stimulated and challenged holistically as they learn about their world in a setting that is sensitive to their needs and their development. All of this while also learning French via immersion. We feel so grateful for our experiences with LLS and its dedicated team of educators.
It was an amazing experience. We are now in public school - French program, and while we like many aspects of it, it has really highlighted how special our LLS experience was - gentle, nurturing, caring, calming, creative, playful. We really miss it, but are so grateful to have had that foundation. Thank you!
Very loving and safe setting for your kid to learn French. Great vibe and central to most neighborhoods.
