Mini golf with my grandson.... a little untidy unfortunately
The pro shop staff and clubhouse staff are always happy kind and helpful. When I haven’t got time for a game of golf, I love to use the driving range. This is the main reason I come out to this golf course.

Droughts are awful. They bring hardship and misery. Longyard Golf Course is suffering the affects of the drought that has gripped Tamworth and inland northern NSW generally for over 3 years. The course has a strong pedigree with a Harrison/Norman design. I'm guessing the plan hatched 20 or so years ago was to build a wonderful golf course as an incentive for people to buy into the real estate devopments that ring most of the course. But with the developments mostly done and the drought rendering much of the course a dustbowl, the question of whether the course will survive is an obvious one.
I'm sure golfers can enjoy playing here. WARNING: Bring your own clubs. Those on hire here are shockers.
