Magpies Sporting Club is the home of CENTRO RESTAURANT – a casual dining sensation, the HUB CAFÉ – for barista made coffee & homemade desserts, SPORTSBAR – all the UBET, Keno & sports action on the big screens, SKYS FUNCTION VENUE and Mackay’s largest GAMING ROOM with 210 poker machines is open until 4am every night, guaranteed*. Magpies is a not for profit, community club that is member driven and community oriented, we are dedicated to encouraging sporting participation and supporting the Mackay community. Our success enabled us to donate over $2.2 million to the Mackay Community last financial year. $2,345,679.47 to be exact. Help us help the community: on your behalf we donate $2 from every membership to a community based organisation of your choice: Surf Life Saving Mackay, CQ Rescue, the Royal Flying Doctors or QLD Cancer council. Had a birthday lunch here today. Had a wonderful meal and with the treats you get by being a member, turns out being a cheap meal out. Sure there is a bit of a line up ordering, but when you don't have to cook or do the dishes, who cares. Enjoyed my meal and the friendliness of the staff, and a small keno win. Great Sunday lunch!
