I used to work here and I loved it. I miss it. Honestly if I could go back I would. Best job I ever had. Great atmosphere. Amazing co-workers. Awesome place to work.
Working at mainstream they made everything sound super cool but looks can be deceiving. Once hired you are expected to do sales at gas stations by selling wax. On those sales your pay relies on commission. It's very difficult to grow with just a solid entry level sales job even while they make it seem like it's super easy to grow which is a lie. They fire innocent people on a daily basis and make it seem like it was their fault. While working here there were some very kind people who you would meet but the management is awful. For example when I had worked here, the gas station I had worked at had a very bad power outage to the point my gas station was forced to close due to an area outage. I had contacted my manager Yulma and asked if I could be moved to a different gas station because with the gas station closing I had no way of making sells. I ended up being promised I would be moved and then having to sit the whole day losing money. Later that day I was told by the same manager that I was not fit for the job Which was extremely unfair. They treat their employees as if they don't matter!
What's not to like! No pay cap, no seniority, no hour cutbacks, full-time positions only, management training program that entails 60+ hours a week, great team based atmosphere, great professional experience and rigorous personal development standards! To have more, you must become more
I have been working at Mainstream Promotions for over one year and I love it.
I find these reviews strange,
Since there's over twenty of us in our Colorado Springs office and we're all happy. The promotions and marketing campaigns we get to be apart of are not only an incredibly fun environment to work in, but more then anything to be apart of something that helps that gives back is a true blessing.
I've worked for sales companies before and I am pretty knowledgable as to what a "SCAM" looks like, this company is not that.
I love what I do, I love who I'm blessed enough to get to work beside and most importantly I love that every single person working with me is more than just a co-worker.
They are my mentors, my friends, and they are as close to family as you can get.
If that sounds like a terrible place to work, then I'm not sure what your looking for.

Mainstream Promotions, Inc is not a marketing company. They do ZERO marketing. They are a shell company for Direct TV. They claim to have dozens of clients but only want to focus on their Direct TV client. The truth is they don't have any other clients. They are a shell company created by Direct TV for the sole purpose of selling Direct TV for a commission in Best Buy or Sam's Club. They are constantly listing marketing jobs on just about every job site. These so called "marketing jobs" are actually selling Direct TV for a commission. Mrs. Rubio, who runs Mainstream Promotion is one of the shadiest, dishonest people I've met. She will never give you a straight answer. Do not waste your time, they are looking for people to exploit. Cable TV is dying thanks to online streaming. You won't even come close to making minimum wage with their commission only sales job. Also the turnover rate is VERY HIGH.
