Great gallery, free entry, lots of inspiring art and information booklets to guide you through the art. There's a restaurant/cafe, a place to do art and an art shop.
Something I really like is that they display a variety of different art forms. Big art installations, video's on projectors, big sculptures, paintings, murals, etc. Very interesting and entertaining!
A peaceful, clean, light-filled space even when busy. Beautiful architecture, old & new combined. Fabulous staff. A truly mesmerising display of the true history of Australia, captured in heartfelt Australian Art. My most enjoyable experience at an Art Gallery.
My first visit to this gallery & I loved it. We started with coffee in the cafe, which must be good because it was jam packed! There are tables inside & out in a courtyard. From there we explored the art & sculptures over the two floors. A wonderful feast for your eyes & soul???? Lastly, a wander in the gift shop of incredibly beautiful hand crafted pieces - of which several came home with me ✅
We have returned once again. When trying to organise a family get together it's just the go to place for our family central. Bonus is you do bump into people you know but you don't get trapped into conversation because everyone is enjoying themselves.
Good selection of food, quite busy. A few vegetarian options plus almond and soy options for coffee and tea.
Large gift shop with a range of items and prices.
Thoughtfully curated gallery with many different rooms- something for everyone. Quite interactive.
