Went to see my fellow workers today, still packed , great pace, weather is great get of the couch and go play the GATE! Went for a ride around the course, great job JEFF! Lenny has made a lot of changes and more to come. Looking forward to ⛳ golf next year, and see all you great guy& girls that play Maple gate. Happy holidays, Thank you for taking care of us

The course is in adequate shape. Not terrible but overpriced for what you get. The biggest issue is pace of play, yet to have a sub-5 hour round there and the last two times playing the front - 9 it was 2:45 and 2:50 with multiple groups waiting on every tee. Nearly 20min per hole on average.
They have been a course of last resort when everywhere else is booked but the feeling I’ve gotten is they are just in it to pack as many groups as possible to make their $$ without consideration of the experience of those playing. I won’t be back.
If you like to hit driver this is NOT the course for you. Lots of layups and “trick holes” very much a “hit the ball here then hit the ball there” type of course.
When you hit 3 wood, PW, PW on a par 5 there is a problem. Some of the greens could have been in better condition. Interesting layout. Great staff. Just target golf in a swampy Forest
I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at Maplegate. The course is in great shape and the staff were all very friendly. Played this course quite a bit in the late 90's early 2000's, but stopped due to poor conditions and a not so friendly staff. I've always loved the layout of the course, but clearly the new superintendent is doing an outstanding job. Very excited to highly recommend to many golf friends to get back and tee it up at the great track at Maplegate. See you again very soon!
Been here the past two Saturdays for a 6:20 AM & 5:55 AM tee time and my experience has been great. Course conditions are great, the layout is challenging but fair and fun, friendly staff. The only knock I would give it would be that the sprinklers sprayed us sometimes. Also, the grounds crew happened to be right next to us on the first 4-5 holes, causing a distraction, but its understandable because we were out so early. Overall, I love the course and will be back this weekend.
