My son loves the small class sizes, all his teachers, and the way he learns about God and the Bible in every class. It's an incredible school in every way,a we've seen such a big difference in my son!
This school is not forgiving They do not practice Grace. They practice law. My daughter was a perfect kid. She made one mistake because of another girl they took in. She was kicked out for one offense. There was no forgiveness, no grace, no understanding. Because of that my 22 year old daughter is a mess right now. She was forced to go to public school and it completely destroyed her. She could not handle real life. She was bullied and beat up. And this was in Parkville! Do not send your kids to christian school if you expect them to know how to handle the world. I hate this school for what they did to my daughter.
We are so very grateful to have our kids at Maranatha Christian Academy. We have had an amazing experience. Our kids have been well prepared academically, but more importantly they have been nurtured and encouraged spiritually. Maranatha may not have fancy buildings or facilities, but our kids have had the blessing of a rock solid foundation that will prepare them for life.
I attended this school from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I loved every minute of it. This is a great Christian school! I highly recommend it to anyone!
Great school. Facilities aren't state of the art but tuition is reasonable (especially considering it costs 1/2 what the state provides public schools!). A great Christ centered education without any emphasis being placed on social status. For being such a small school there is a surprising level of esprit de corps. Very impressed.
