I’m not sure if this was a party where people run or where people run before partying but I think this might be my favorite trail race I’ve ever done. While they had to cancel 2020 I look forward to being able to make the trip in the future. Multiple distances available and the scenic trails are incredible. The race director, Chris, truly cares about everyone involved with this race and it’s easy to see why it sells out quickly every single year!
There's a reason this race sells out every year and gets so many repeaters.... The course is beautiful. The race SWAG is the best, and the medals are huge. The party at the start/finish is mellow but goes all day, with a food and beer tent and lots of friendly people.
The most awesome trail race out there!! And the 1.5 pound medals are epic!!
