Oakland Strokes is an excellent place for boys and girls to learn rowing! Including high school and middle school students.
Great place, the coaches are incredibly supportive and they know that can encourage you and make you push harder.
You could not go wrong sending your kid here.
This program has amazing coaches, hard working kids, and incredible resources. Everyone, parents included, work so hard to make this team a continued national contender every single year. Yet it's not all about winning, it's about building strong character too. I had the pleasure of rowing here for three years and it changed my life.
