The peaceful serenity on the nature walk is definitely worth a visit. There are 2 playgrounds and scenic picnic table areas with gazebos and BBQ grills
Onslow County parks are a great asset to the people, especially families. My wife and I visit all of them to picnic and hike the many trails. Our favorite hiking trail is in the park on the north side of Jacksonville en route to New Bern.
Nice and clean and a swing set for smaller kid's
It's such a beautiful park, very clean with walking trails, a children's area, a covered dining area. Picnic tables and even a brick pizza oven ????
This trail/playground/baseball park is greatly maintained. Great trails to walk with the kids before you let them loose upon one of two playgrounds. They've place the baseball fields in a great spot so that a kid on the playground can still be seen while their other child is doing the sports!
