What an amazing place! The people are so nice and welcoming. My sons favorite place for sure!
We saw this on face book and decided to go today! So glad we did. My 5 year old had the best time. The smile in her face said it all!
Started with a quick bite, can I say we had the best home made scones, jam and Farm fresh cream. They were amazing!
Then went to see all the animals, Snowy the sheep was a hit, one of many there, including a guinea pig, pig, and the star attraction, Captain the Clydesdale horse! All were so friendly and gentle with the kids of all ages. It was great to be able to hand feed them all.
The tran ride was fun too, all the train memorabilia was incredible, lots of fun and very interactive for the kids.
The owners were fun and friendly. Definitely suited to the Farm and it was obvious how much they enjoyed giving to the community.
The prices for such an experience were excellent too,
We will be back. My daughters comment.... Best day ever!
Stayed at the B&B attached to Platform 1. Amazing place to stay, scenic, remote and very cosy.
Excellent fun for birthdays, school functions, and other. We live down the road a bit, but still got to experience most everything. Awesome place to take the under 10 crowd and the over 25 crowd who like machinery and trains.
We had my sons birthday there this morning and were thoroughly impressed! Emily hosted the party and there were non stop activities for the children and adults from pass the parcel, feeding the animals and a massive key/treasure hunt! The food supplied was more than enough and everyone had a brilliant time! Glenn was out train driver and had everyone in stitches. I fell like I got to really enjoy my sons birthday and make some lovely memories with him instead of serving and cleaning up. :-) thank you platform 1 for a wonderful morning, we'll be back!
