Enhance Quarantine due to covid19, but still issuing parking tickets even city of melbourne doesn't.
Received a highly inflated supplementary rate notice with 2 weeks to pay, grrrr!

Moved to this council for about a year now, living in south melb. Have left 3 different inquiries - email and telephone and have not received a response. This council seems to be occupied with tourism rather than the local residents in the area. Also revenue making is a big thing for them, on the streets handing out fines left right and centre - I see it everyday, be warned! I won’t be staying here once my lease ends. Nice suburb to visit and pass through - not to call home.
There is plenty of free street parking in suburbs next to St Kilda. I know as I have lived in Port Phillip since 1980 and always park outside my house 1 km from Fitzroy St and before that in a rented share house nearby in the early 1980's. Just be prepared to walk a km or so to St Kilda or catch one of the many trams that chris-cross the municipality.
St Kilda unfortunately have vagrants that camp in and litter our parks and gardens. They are thoughtless people who dont work, wont rent accommodation and live off we taxpayers on the dole.
