Love this gym. Hope it won't change after Genesis took over
Great facilities, Helpful staff. Prairie Life/The Athletic Club recently acquired by Genesis, and it fits very well in the Genesis KC metro portfolio. Pool facilities (indoor + outdoor) are top-notch. Locker rooms are clean and efficient. (Really haven't tried the cardio/weights/courts areas yet.)
Great Gym. My personal trainer, Sammy, is excellent. Really getting me where I need to go. Highly recommend.
Was a member for 2 years about a 1 year ago glad I didn’t keep my membership . There was some sketchy people that went there too and their locker rooms are old and gross including the equipment. I heard they remodeled and nothing special was done according to some people I know. It’s basically a planet fitness with pools, maybe even planet fitness is better actually. It’s also way too overpriced.
So far I have enjoyed working out here. They keep it very clean and the temperature is nice a cold for the summer!!
