I've been in the audience once and a performer twice. By far, the best stage I've set foot on in Australia. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and are happy to strike up a conversation when you're around the dressing room areas. It really helps to see someone calm and smiling in the midst of the madness backstage.
As a person in the audience; the seats are really comfortable, easy access to exits and the sound/acoustics is exceptional. I'd love to watch more shows at this theatre.
A great theater that hosts a variety of shows. The layout is lovely. You can purchase alcohol or snacks over the bar. Sit outside in the courtyard for some laughs with friends or head out on to the balcony that overlooks the Parramatta River. We enjoyed the comedy show that we watched there. Ample space and simply enjoyable.
It sits in the middle of a bussling city, eat street, church, park.
What I like about Riverside is the broad type of shows it offers from monthly stand up comedy, to cultural shows like Vivaldi, movies... People should support venues like this.
The downside is, it has no parking area for their patrons. One has to park elsewhere and walk.
Staff are nice and friendly.
After the show, you could go for a nice walk around, have a meal...
Great show tonight. My Best Dead Friend. A better way to spend an hour. That dang possum
Went to see White Pearl. It was super easy to park nearby, and the theatre itself was well organised and professional. A great night out with lots of lovely food options nearby.
