A beautiful building right on the South Waterfront. The building is LEED-certified and houses research and teaching labs from multiple Oregon universities. RLSB also offers an Elephant's Deli and not one but TWO Starbucks. Easy access to all public transit, and a wonderful walk (or ride) over the Tillikum Crossing pedestrian bridge to get to OMSI or close-in SE. A lovely place to visit on an urban hike or strolling down the South Waterfront.
I visited the Robertson Collaborative Life Sciences Building for a weekend-long Dental Continuing Education Course. The building is directly connected with the OHSU School Of Dentistry and the Skourtes Tower.
Parking in the Schnitzter Parking Lot is free on the weekends and is about a five minute walk to the CLSB and so is a great option.
Plus there is a public transit stop directly in front of it.
Honestly this is one of the most spectacular academic buildings that I’ve ever been in. The architecture is totally unique and there is a great open-concept with plenty of areas to read, study, meet friends and or colleagues, or (with a Starbucks on site) drink a coffee. And the views are phenomenal.
No surprise, the course was amazing as well.
A great place to charge my phone and make my best friend sad.
Tool ???? by half. Amazing building and amazing shared experience
