I have never felt more welcome. I called the front desk of the emergency room and tried to book an appointment for my emergency. The lady greeted me, just like my own mother and before she hung up she said she loved me. The nurses catered me like a bird with a broken wing, gave me some good drugs to calm me down, and even followed my request of having a blanket fresh out of the dryer.
Reputation precedes itself. Would be so scared to be admitted here.
Didn’t believe it was so bad until experiencing it myself. Trying to work with staff and nurses. What a nightmare
I had a horrific experience in the ER two weeks ago. I reported the incident but was met with praise for the Dr by everyone I have spoken to. My concerns are "under review". I have little hope that any action will be taken against the Dr who could have easily given me Covid by not following CDC guidelines. He touched my face (eyelid) without warning. He was not wearing gloves and did not wash his hands upon entering the room. I also received a pelvic exam that was highly unusual and despite asking, I have not received a definitive explanation for his method. (The exam began with him asking if he could remove small pieces of TP from my private region. He proceeded to pick it off. It felt weird. I was so embarrassed. The rest of the exam was different from any exam I have ever received. Finger movement during the exam was noticeably different. I wondered why this exam was not the same as a gynecological exam. I expected it to be. I just wanted to leave ASAP!)
I picked up a copy of my medical record from my visit and it list information about my visit that never happened. For instance, the record said that he examined my neck. He did not. Other non truths are listed. Additionally, he misdiagnosed me completely. He dismissed the extreme pain I had been in and completely missed the signs to what actually was happening with me. I received an actual diagnosis from my regular physician a few days later. I spent five hours in the ER and left with no knowledge of what was happening to me. I have had nothing but anxiety and sadness since my visit. I have had nightmares about my pelvic exam and nightmares that I contracted Covid and gave it to my toddlers. I can't express enough how this experience has impacted my life. I feel helpless and taken advantage of. The ER Dr was unprofessional on every possible level!
after waiting for an hour and a half in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment, I had to leave. No one was going to let me know about the doctor being that far behind but felt comfortable letting me miss work for an additional 2 hours. BOO
My brother went there to have a procedure done. Well he didn't survive and passed away. The very next day they sent him an email to take a survey and to let them know how his visit went. Guess it shows you how much they really care.
