What more can I say about this park than has already been said. It's such a beautiful spot with wonderful hiking for everyone. Just get here early in order to find parking.
This is a great outdoor recreation area center primarily around rock climbing but there are lots of hiking & mountain biking trails, some of which are open to horseback. I underestimated the size and scope of the park and only planned to be there an hour+ but you could easily spend an entire day or more. Trails are well maintained with plenty of literature and maps. I used the online guide to choose a suitable trail for my family and the time available (River walk). My kids climbed or tried to climb nearly every boulder along the trail, ages 5 - 13, and they even waded in the river.
This place is stunningly beautiful. There are a few hiking trails and I strongly recommend spending some serious time here checking them out. If you're a climber -- there are some pretty intense climbs but it must feel like the very definition of success standing on the top of one of these mountains. We aren't climbers and all of our photos are ground level. The views while just hiking were stunning ❤️ Lots of photos are attached to my review.
Absolutely breath taking. My family and I loved visiting this park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well kept. The trails were well maintained and easy to maneuver. We enjoyed watching the rock climbers and the wildlife. Amazing photo opportunities in this park to. I enjoyed every minute of taking photos here. I highly recommend this park if you are looking for some family fun.
