Worst venue I've ever seen. Poor access and exits. After concert, it took 30 minutes to walk downstairs. Staff advised we weren't allowed to use lifts. Public transport is a joke and needs to be addressed. My disabled son was very distressed because can only walk short distances. So I called a cab, only to be told we had to wait at taxi rank because he isn't in a wheelchair. Everything was closed so we couldn't get food or drinks. Tried 2 local venues but security wouldn't allow entry because my youngest son is 17. Had to wait 1 hour in a dark street with no seating or protection from the rain. Queen and Adam Lambert were amazing but we will never go to suncorp stadium again. Absolutely appalling. You need to move forward with the times.
After the extremely long process of getting home after the Queen And Adan Lambert concert on Thursday Night, I will definitely Be reconsidering going to another event here again. I did not see any staff member anywhere to help direct people on what direction to take to get to the nearest train station depending on where there headed to get home. It seems that everyone was pushed in one direction to Milton which saw 4 of us who were very sober, very alert and familiar with the area walking 20 min in the wrong direction and unable to turn around coming up against road blocks constantly along the way. This resulted in us getting home almost 2.5 hours after the concert had finished. I have been to a lot of concerts Where I have needed to take public transport and have always found it easy to find my way home.
We went to see Queen concert. The venue is great for large concerts..It poured down with rain the whole 2hrs, luckily we were under cover., but it is open to the elements. The organisation is excellent, very fast to get in and out. There is food and drinks, we didn't eat but found the drinks to be over priced.
There's not a bad seat in the stadium. I've seen sports and concerts in this venue and all are amazing. The only negative is parking. Make sure you allow time to get to the stadium as there is very little parking in the immediate areas around the stadium
12 Nov 2019: U2 concert at Suncorp Stadium. Started the evening off with the VIP party. This was a great start and did not disappoint, with a constant supply of nibbles and drinks. Well done to the O’Brien group and Suncorp. The concert was superb. U2 put on a magnificent show. Well done U2. I’ve added a couple of snaps I took during the concert.
