We didn't have a good experience here.
My daughters had a terrible experience with Synergy. I would give zero stars if possible. The regional teams were treated as second (or third) class citizens. The coaches did not manage dysfunctional team dynamics. Some team members were outwardly mean to others. We had practices cancelled and never made up. They offer all these skills clinics included in club fees (sounds great, right?), but the timing was so inconvenient (4:30 on a weekday) that it was hard to get the girls there. And if they went, they would have to kill an hour hanging out before practice or strength training. Most of our tournaments were at Synergy (meaning they didn't have to pay registration fees). And a few of the tournaments were supposed to be for the next age group, so the team was constantly outplayed and demoralized.
Nice facility dedicated to volleyball. Doesn't share gym time with other sports.
The whole experience was terrible. For a club that isn't the best compared to many within the region, they charge two times more money than the better clubs. Not only that, but the whole season was the worst. The owner, Chang will do anything for money. Our team had an illegal player, who joined halfway through the season, and she was still allowed to join. Associating with two club teams in one season is illegal. But as long as Chang gets his money, you can join. Joining synergy is a waste of your money and time, as long as you pay money you can join whatever team you desire.
