Not a review of the main museum or school but of the grounds, trail and sculptures. A lovely walk in a picturesque setting. Many interesting sculptures and some site-specific installations.
Took a drawing class here last fall, highly recommend the art classes that they offer . Their teachers are very knowledgeable and the classes are some of the most reasonably priced in the city. Such a beautiful campus, peacocks everywhere, water and a beautiful trail with sculptures galore! Very inspiring campus for drawing, photography, writing, etc.
Nice place to roam around the grounds and enjoy art and nature
It's a very nice place clean place and my daughter goes there often
The Contemporary Austin's campus at Laguna Gloria is a beautiful venue and event space (The Contemporary is Austin's art museum). I've attended the La Dolce Vita Food and Wine Festival here three years in a row and it's been wonderful each time. Since I've also volunteered during setup all three times, I've gotten to see the empty grounds during the daylight. The venue also houses an art school and contains a limited art collection.
