Love the drop in camp options for my 10 yr old! It's just the right mix of structure and freedom - my son can choose his own activity but gets plenty of support and guidance from the staff. The instructors are always attentive and engaged with the kids. Also love that you can just do short drop-in sessions vs committing to a whole week.
My 12 year old had a fantastic time at DAE over winter break. She went in for one morning and ended up doing the afternoon and then coming back next day to do another session in the afternoon. She'd have done more had we known about these ahead of time. There are a lot of options of what students can do: graphic design, robotics, 3D printing, etc. The instructors are pretty knowledgeable and keep the kids engaged. From now on we'll be back at DAE on a regular basis.
Not all kids are into sports but DAE has everything my son is into and he loves it there! He loves it because it's fun, I love it because he's learning something. It's a great place. Clean, fun and the staff is amazing.
My son has a great time at DAE. The instructors are very professional and obviously experienced in their profession. The holidays camps are particularly good and the scheduling very flexible, as you can do one day or a full week. Highly recommend.
My son has been frequenting DAE since they came to White Plains with their Minecraft buses! He loved intro to python and was able to use the skills with his computer club at school to control a robot! We were lucky enough to be able to participate this summer in a program offered with At&t called Code Heroes and created coding games with the theme Anti-Cyber Bullying! This is the only place my video gaming junkie loves to go to!
