I came here for a fun team building activity with my office, and it was so much fun! My group made a bowl, and let me just say I will never judge expensive pottery ever again. It was not easy but it was such a fun experience. I want to go back and sign up for their 6 or 12 week courses to learn more about pottery and how to actually not suck at it.
The art projects are fun and not just crafty pieces with stickers or coloring. They do things like splatter paint and copying famous artists’ work aka Monet, Van Gogh, Pollack. The music is aligned to the art for the day so the kids hear some jazz, Frank Sinatra’s, classical, country... whatever the art theme of the day is.
My 2 year old nanny kid loves it here. He has done classes as well as drop in art here. He lives the variety of art projects he can do. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend the paintbrush art studio.
My son went to the Paintbrush all the time when he was younger and loved it. They have a great balance of art, music and fun! The teachers are nurturing individuals who help the children have a great time with creative expression. I would recommend this enrichment program to anyone who has children.
The Paintbrush has been a part of our family since they opened in 2005 when my son was 8. He thoroughly enjoyed the classes because of the music that they listened to from the period of the artist of the week. My son is now older and I have gone to The Paintbrush for the Art & Wine Nights. A great, happy place to go and escape into art!!
