I went for the koala breakfast. It turned out there were only 3 of us so we had a private viewing. The breakfast was amazing couldn't eat it all. Lots of photos with koalas. Keeper Lauren was excellent. Well done job. Definitely recommend it.
Perfect for seeing local animals, when you are not interested in animals from around the world. The zoo is well organized and flow of visitors is good. We loved the individual talks at each major area, and the chance to interact directly with the animals. All staff were friendly and clearly enjoyed their work.
It's located right at the harbor and it's easily accessible. From outside it looks small but it's quite vast. I was able to catch the show with kangaroo feeding and crocodile talk. Would recommend this place to spend easy half a day.
Great if you only have a few days in Sydney and can't get out to the other more interactive Wildlife parks out West. If you've never seen a Koala or a Kangaroo before I can understand, but definitely not worth the money. The Aquarium next door is more impressive. You can get ticket deals to include both and Madame Tussauds which is probably a better deal, especially if you get a discount.
Do the Australian wildlife private tour (90 minutes with two keepers)! It was a fantastic experience and worth every penny. Ask for Matt and Marina if available, they were wonderful!
