Amazing museum to visit, very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of very interesting history to look. Its a real eye opener on how timber was produced in Australia. Well worth the visit.
Very detailed. Good interaction level, so great for kids. Need a good afternoon to do it justice for older visitors.
Lots of wood stuff to see, especially history related.
Worth a visit, well set up & informative. I would like more finished work. Lathe work etc, Could increase sales.
We visited this museum on its 35 anniversary and sadly arriving at 3pm we were the first visitors for the day. A shame as the museum is worth an hour's visit and easily accessible off the Bruce Highway just out of town. The staff are friendly and the free guide book is excellent. Exhibits are well maintained and interesting. You won't leave thinking it's one of the best museums you've ever visited but you should find something of interest.
