I came here with a friend on a Monday morning to do Gateway Trail / Bell Pass / Tom's Thumb, and the parking lot had ample parking at 7:15AM. We started the hike and it was long but pretty good! The way up goes up for a while but it's not too bad, pretty rocky the whole way as people have said. Take AllTrails with you as there are a lot of intersections, but they're all signed which is great if you know where you're going. We got up to Tom's Thumb at around 10AM, and it was slightly windy up there with alright views. The hike down was a bit monotonous and we got back to our cars around 12:30PM. During the entire hike, we saw probably about 30 people, most wearing masks.

I really enjoy the Gateway trail in the Sonoran Preserve. If you want a real challenge recommend doing Gateway to Bell pass loop Counter clockwise its about 9.5 miles.

I am the Caterer for Hot Lunch @ Mission Montessori. Why did we partner together for lunch? It is very Simple! Our Mission and Values align! We both care about our customers and what they consume whether math, science, history or food. We care that we teach consciousness, respect and concern for others and the environment. Everyone can make a difference no matter how small or big you are. It is back to basics in learning as well as eating. All Organic, Nitrate Free, Pastured, Grass Fed, the way we used to farm, before Industrial Food. Options for dietary concern of Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan and those who love it all. We both compost and recycle and reuse. I love all of the Teachers and staff - their love and support for the students is heartfelt and the students just make me tear up every time they say they loved their lunch. I'm so proud to be part of the Mission Montessori Mission and Vision. - Chef Jennifer with Witnessing Nature In Food

Our daughter is about to complete 8th grade with Mission Montessori and has been with them since first grade our son started in kindergarten and is about to enter seventh grade. Our daughter had very limited self-confidence or self-esteem when she started there and all I hear from people now is how she has become a very grounded confident young lady. Mission Montessori has started a sports program that has been an added benefit for our son. When I talk about my kids experiences at their school I'm often asked if it is a private school and I have to explain that it is a public charter school. I am proud of the education in the foundation that our kids haven't been given for their future due to Mission Montessori.

This is a wonderful Charter School! It is a very calm and peaceful environment unlike many other traditional schools. The children do a lot of work outdoors, grow organic foods in the gardens, travel the world, speak at the UN. They aren't just doing sheet after sheet like a traditional school. They learn math, science and language with hands on materials. The administration and teachers care so much about the children and making the world a better place through education. It starts with the children and this school understands that. This school will help shape your children into independent, creative and critical thinkers that will grow to make the world a better place.

The room floors were not cleaned. Our room was so far we had to walk, unless you can find a bellman to give you a ride. Then we ordered delivery breakfast to our room. When the food came they would not bring it to our room or give the delivery a ride to our room. I had to go out to the street to get my order. No Bueno.

Definitely a great course for a middle handicapper and up. Wide landing areas, and greens protected by bunkers, that will provide enough of a challenge. Turf in very good condition too.

I dropped my boy off every day for two weeks back in late July/early August to the Scottsdale location and the staff never knew where he was. They would have to bribe him to come and my son Liam hated going there. I taught my son how to respect authority. Most of the counselors there would be goofing off on their phones. It was a great thing to laugh about with my co-workers at the bank. The owner, Rayce, doesn't know how to deal with kids either. The few appearances he made, he would let them run amuck and then yell at them because he ran out of things to do with them. Don't send your son/daughter here. It's a mess! Rayce is there to make a buck, not a difference.

Realizing my son enjoyed golf at an early age we enrolled him in some group clinics & then progressed to private lessons. We tried several teachers over the years before we met Paul Purtzer. Wow what a difference! His knowledge of the swing and just as important if not more, how to play the game is unparalleled . From course management to playing under pressure he has helped in so many ways. Paul has a way about him that simply put, he is the best! My son now has a +2.9 handicap and is continuing to work with Paul to get on tour. Paul really cares about his students. We highly recommend Purtzer Golf Academy.

SCC nursing’s response to Covid has completely screwed up this program. The classes are just recorded video. There is absolutely no interaction with professors. Questions to professors go unanswered for days. How is this a conducive learning environment? There is not even an attempt at class interaction via zoom. This is a disservice to students. Clinical’s has been cancelled for the second semester in a row.

Scottsdale Community College should be named Scottsdale Community High School. I own a business in Scottsdale and took a business class to get some insight. The teachers are inept. They have no right to call this place a college. A joke is more appropriate.

The way TPC manages their courses never ceases to amaze me. Other management firms need to take notes. The conditions are always spot on, the way they level the tee boxes and practice tee is second to none. They do a great job. Scottsdale’s a little over priced but they get every penny they ask for. 5 stars always.

Keep in mind this time of the year we played the Mulligan for the front nine. And then the front line of the king course. The king course is in pretty rough shape. But I think after the over seating it will be much better. They need to rebuild some of the tee boxes because they are not flat. There was a Ranger on the course who is bringing out cold drinking water to people. I think we ran into him four times. It was very hot out and that was very nice to have. Everybody in the clubhouse was extremely friendly as well as the starters. Pay $29 for 18 holes of golf. We would like to go back and play the king course and it’s entirety.

It's a very busy course but in great condition. Difficult to get on and play is fast. We had a playing lesson with Andrea and she is fantastic. Highly recommend her for both men and women. Course is woman friendly but that does not mean it's easy. Go for it!

Well maintained 18-hole course—exclusively, par-3s and par-4s. Sufficient yardage, difficulty, and elegance to offer, perhaps, the best valued course in the Mesa Area.

This experience far exceeded our expectations! Ceri is a refreshing gem. She was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher! Her passion for metal works was invigorating and made us all want to stay longer. Her shop is brilliantly put together while showcased all of those that created masterpieces before us. I would highly recommend coming to a course if you're looking for something different for a date night or even just a night out. Out of 5 stars, I'd rate this experience a 40! Brilliant!

Enjoyed my time here. The course was in good shape even with the heat of summer. There are a few forced carries and OB is in play on a number of holes, so the course is no slouch. Overall the course was challenging but fair and we managed a little over a 4 hour pace in a foursome with only a little waiting on the group ahead.
