I got accepted to two schools but wanted to start with a summer course at Pepperdine to see how it goes. I enrolled in one class and before the class started I asked professor for the syllabus, and few additional questions. He emailed me he would gladly speak to me about the class I want to take and gave me the phone number to call. I am not a native speaker and I have an accent. When I called, he was very rude, asked me who I am, and then he said I got the wrong number and hanged up on me. I withdrew the class immediately to get my money back and I decided to go to different university instead, with better reputation. There are other better schools out there.

On September 11 every year the main lawn adjacent to PCH is adorned with thousands of flags. Each flag representing a person that died on 911. It’s truly beautiful and moving. It’s a great photo opportunity through the flags looking towards the Pacific Ocean. Go near sunset.

Personal opinion, may be Pepperdine is the most beautiful university in CA, there is a good hiking area just near the campus, and you can enjoy the beach as well. The student here can enjoy the life in mountains and ocean. However, you may not afford the tuition, I didn't apply this school only because the tuition is unbelievable high.

My 5 year old daughter has been training with LA Gymnastics for about 2 months. I am so pleased with the extensive safety measures, regular cleaning, temperature checks, and all safety protocols that make me comfortable in sending my child to classes. She is training with her favorite coach, Miss Janell, who works with her in detail focusing on body elements and flexibility. My daughter has increased in physical strength, discipline and listening. I highly recommend this school, my daughter absolutely loves the class. Additionally, classes are being held in a state of the art outdoor training space and it is very impressive, we are enjoying our time at LASG. 5 stars!

My princess has taken classes here the past two years. During this time I have seen her confidence and self esteem grow tremendously. The coaches are supportive and patient, and they know how to challenge the kids in a positive, fun way. The facility also has a toddler play area, vending machines, changing tables, and lots of other fun things. This makes it convenient for families to bring their younger children and watch from the bleachers if an older sibling is taking a class. The atmosphere is always fun and happy, and our family enjoys the hour we spend here each week.

What an incredible place! After several years at another gym I brought my girls to Gymnastic school. They were placed in classes according to their skill sets, and immediately started to build their level of conditioning and stamina. There are several assets to this place. They are all experienced gymnasts that can show and demonstrate proper technique and they know how to help your child feel included in the drills no matter their ability, regardless of the noise level from all of the excitement in the room. Spectacular facility and support staff!

Simply the best!!! All staff I've had help me are well informed about what they are talking about. After going to foot doctors over years, getting casted for orthodics, injuries related to flat feet, etc....I can guarantee you this place is the best.

It is extraordinary that in this wealthy metropolis, the main art collection is so insignificant. I’m not talking about the current remodel, which was not needed. The building has been remodeled not that long ago. Incidentally, the contracted painters could not even cut the paint properly at the edges. The paint colors were more in keeping with a provincial museum in the Southern Trough. There are almost no masterpieces from any period. It is poorly presented, organized, and curated. Now, they are going to build an expensive monstrosity, instead of spending the money on acquisitions.

Located a block away from Hollywood and highland, I'd recommend street parking if you can find it or taking the train. This is perfect for groups or couples, if you don't have your own tripod you can rent one for $7. The have several rooms and I love that they have examples hung up so you know what your picture should look like, my favorite room is the upside down room it is a 5minute time limit in each room so get strategic. Make sure you're getting both the ceiling and the floor so your picture comes out perfect! If you're a local or visitor this is definitely a fun thing to do when visit Hollywood.

Such a great place to learn dance at. I would have never had such a fun time learning dance if I had not gone here. Not only is every teacher nice and funny, but they push you to be your best too. Every student is every welcoming and sweet. I wrote this because I got upset with seeing all of the one star review because laba is the best. They also go slow with teaching new things because ( and I am just guessing here) they do not want to put any kid in a unwanted state. Laba is a great place to send you kid!

I love this studio! Never been to such a good ballet school! I mostly do ballet and contemporary, and I love it! However, they do go a bit slow in teaching new things in their classes. Otherwise, this is a GREAT studio!!!

I love this studio. Roxana is an incredible teacher. A truly caring, passionate and talented teacher and ballerina. I finally have a teacher that corrects me a LOT which is one of the most important thing to become a great dancer and with good technique. The staff is very nice and they have a big studio.

Friendly to musicians of all ages and skill levels. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. The store offers a lot of services too, including lessons, guitar repair, and concerts. Don't forget to grab a free guitar pick when you visit!

Coach arrives at the same time as the class starts and spends half the class getting equipment set up while toddlers are left alone and Not supervised. I will not be continuing a membership here as it is not a safe and supervised environment. You would expect a higher level of instruction, attention to detail for this type of paid coaching even at the Kinder level.

Daughter played ASA softball here for 8 years (went on to play MS, HS & College (DIII)). Fields are spectacular -- below ground concrete dugouts! Wooden fences (not just chain link)! Totally pro atmosphere. Coaches on our teams were some of the best imaginable -- never had a school coach that compared. Drew the best girls from the entire area -- West Valley, Burbank, San Fernando, even Santa Clarita. Super high level of training & competition, yet space for every kind of girl. Beautifully organized & run; whole facility is a dream for families. Met lots of great people, parents & kids, here. Great asset to Northridge.

This teen center is been around for a very long time, it's been part of the community first long as I can remember. It's well-funded well maintained and perfectly staffed year around. The people here are very nice, polite and professional. Setting up any special event requires permission and reservation. Lots of events happen here throughout the summer time, *space is limited for events taking place during summer hours. Parking lot is ample there's also meter parking off of Sepulveda Boulevard.

Great for teens who dont wanna go to very strict and educational after school programs! They can hang and eat snacks! Theres also a homework help, a computer room, game room and tables to eat snacks!!
