The school is full of egotistic people. Tries to teach only one way and think students should learn it only one way and only that way. Students feel as if they are not smart enough and some of the programs are just terrible.
A school full of egotistic facility. Vp is horrible to children and plays favorites. Many teachers leave every year because they are screwed over by the board. If you have a daddy or mommy on the board you are untouchable. The school deprives children of valuable high school experiences. Don't waste your time here it is no longer a school for intellectuals.
Administration is absolutley horrible. Certain employees dont give two craps about the students or their futures. I am writing this anonymously as i am afraid my sisters reputaion will be on the line. No room for independent thought or creativity in the classroom. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE INDEPENDENT THOUGHT.
My daughter really enjoyed this school but had a problem with lack of freedom and creativity in the classroom. Everything else was amazing. If you are looking for an academic school with thoughtful teachers, interesting, useful curriculum, and an excessively strict dress code, The Vanguard School is a great place to begin a lifelong career of success!
Awesome school. Great academics. Forming great student character. Great helpful teachers with very effective parent teacher communication. Again, proud to have my kids at the Vanguard School!
