Unorganized check-in. Food truck vendor was a complete jerk. The “Starting Line” inflatable was busted. Our “Wave” started 15 minutes late. More “run” than there was “mud”. Shame on them for labeling this a “Mud” Run. It should’ve been called “Cow Patty” Obstacle Course! (Not worth the money we paid!)

If you are running this expecting a real mud run .... DON'T. I had a team of 6 experienced obstacle and mud runners in the 05/26 Houston 5K and it was not a mud run in anyway. Think of it as a 7 mile run with a few simple obstacles. If you want an obstacle run in the mud - choose a Spartan or a Tough Mudder. If you want a trail run with a few things laying in the way, go with The Original Mudder
Plenty of mud and challenges. Stinky but its a cattle ranch.. I hope you like getting dirty!!
The people who do this are amazing very friendly and answer all your questions. It was extremely fun definitely do it again
