Our older daughter spent two preschool years at a highly recommended school before we admitted that in truth, we were underwhelmed. We decided to widen our net and do proper due diligence rather than just rely on the input of a few that we happened to know. We visited and met with the principals of one Montessori and two private Catholic schools before finding St. Luke. We were impressed by the teachers, who were warm, experienced and committed to providing appropriately challenging material. We took a chance and transferred, and we're so glad we did. It is a wonderful community! The curriculum is academically rigorous, and as a result the students do very well on standardized tests and the school routinely excels in the many interscholastic competitions they participate in, at both regional and state levels. They also win championships in sports, which are year round and no-cut, so everyone can participate and hone their skills. My daughters have thrived here! We're so grateful to St. Luke for beautifully developing the hearts, minds and spirits of our daughters.

Our experience at St. Luke has been way above and beyond what we ever imagined. Our daughters started at St. Luke in 3 year old preschool and are flourishing every year. The preschool curriculum is incredibly impressive and my 3 year old is coming home spelling sight words. They nurture a wide variety of sensory, motor and social skills and almost always have outdoor playtime. My 1st grader is reading books, doing math and learning about different cultures around the world. She comes home daily with amazing facts (just yesterday she told me how to say "thank you" in German along with other German facts). We look forward to all the rest our our years at St. Luke and recommend this school to anyone we know!

Horriable!!! Don't send your kid here!! The teachers are strict, and they act like they know everything. It's not a welcoming environment for a new kid. Some kids will be nice while others will be rude to you with a huge attitude. They will give you 3 - 5 hours of homework every day. On another note, if you need to tell you parent something, they won't let you call home. And over Christmas / Winter break they gave us three projects in almost every Subject. They wanted us to read one and a half books over break and in addition read an extra hour, then present to the class everything you reed. Too much homework. The school has too much pride in itself. ALL of my friends say they don't like this school, and that they would want to go to a different school. some already transfered and say that they can't wait to transfer and that they hate this school. A lot of people act like they like it when they say they really don't . Some parents complain about the amount of homework given. Even when we get a break the homework will double or even triple. Some people do like this school though, and they think it's a nice community. Some say they don't like it, even the ones who are straight A students. So no I don't recommend this school, but nothing's stoping you from going. Keep in mind, everyone's different...
