This place takes advantage of the elderly. My mother is 65 years old and she went there looking for beds for her grandchildren that she recently HAD to get custody over. They told her that she needed to pay $60 to get on the waiting list for newer beds from “Mathis Brothers” and she would need to pay an additional $60 for furniture there that she wanted. This is suppose to be a cost free “charitable” place for Jesus? I don’t think so. She has tried for OVER 4 weeks to speak with someone regarding either her furniture or this waiting list she is suppose to be on and has not heard from anyone. They are refusing to give her money back ($120) that she has paid for NOTHING. They refuse to show any paperwork that has been signed stating that she understood that her money would not be refunded. This is very much illegal. If we do not hear from someone soon we will take this to small claims and beyond to make sure they do not take advantage of anyone else’s family member.
If I could put -5 starts I honestly would. I called and set up a pick up time to pick up various furniture from a location I was closing. I spoke with Angel and she arranged the pick up time from 2-4pm on July 31, 2019. The day came and I did not receive one call at all. I actually called to verify that the pick up was still occurring as we had to be out of the office space by a certain time. However, when I called Amber gave me another number to call and told me she is sure they are on their way. I called the other number and left a voicemail but nobody called me back, it was 3:30pm by this time. It then turned to 5pm and I still did not receive a call back or any word about the pick up. All in all my experience with them was poor, I would never use this company again. I rather pay to have my furniture picked up. This is very unprofessional and unreliable, please donate your furniture elsewhere.
Love this place! Great people. Need more places like this in Tulsa.
