The membership fee to join the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce is an investment in your business that pays you back. I joined the NPRCOC as a healthcare professional in private practice mainly to be part of a community of professionals and business owners. Making connections with colleagues who share the same goal of creating a successful business keeps me focused, inspired and reduces the sense of isolation that is part of being in business for yourself. The courses I took through their business academy helped me to FINALLY understand how to update my website and social media posts so they would help my business grow. As a member of the New Paltz Regional Chamber of Commerce you get more than just a glass of wine at a monthly mixer!
The visitor's center is chock full of information for the region. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Calling the chamber today Friday April 14th and no one is answering the phone. The GOOGLE information states they are open today from 9 am -5pm.
I think that if they were to close down no matter what reason it should be mentioned on their voice mail.
Very UNPROFESSIONAL.
Very friendly place. In Visitor Center inside I got a free NY State Map and a local Travel Guide.
