The majesty of Mohonk is a welcome slice of sanctuary, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Hundreds of miles of hiking trails, stunning throughout the year. Lots of support and information on social media with excellent detailed downloadable maps for your escapes. If you haven’t yet been...you’re missing out.
Highly recommend! I paid $29 per person for access to a huge nature preserve that's extremely well maintained with marked trails. You cannot explore the whole grounds in one day so I will be going back. The Bonticou Crag, rock scramble, and Tabletop Rock were beautiful sights to see and a great place to stop and have lunch. If you don't want to climb the rock scramble to get to the top of the crag, there is a steep foot path that can bring you up there. The Labrynth and Lemon Squeeze are definitely another to recommend. Fun scrambles that bring you to Skytop where you'll see beautiful views. I would recommend getting there early before the lot fills up or else you'll be waiting around for a spot to free up.

Great easy hiking trails
This was my family's second trip to Mohonk Mountain House over the past two summers and we just love it. An easy and scenic ride from the metro tri-state area. The grounds are expansive and bucolic. The lakehouse has incredible charm and history while feeling updated in all the right areas - rooms, spa, indoor pool, dining experiences are all top-notch !! We will go back just for the breakfast and of course a swim in the crystal clear glacier-carved lake !! Many thanks to the wonderful staff.
