Christophe’s dishes will take you on a journey through France’s gastronomic regions using the best local and Australian produce. The menu offered respects the seasons and has been created from a combination of his love of traditional French cuisine, natural flavours and fresh ingredients, his travels around the world, and his ability to work instinctively and creatively. Like an alchemist, he combines spices and herbs which put a specific touch – and thus add an element of surprise –on dishes which are centuries old. The dishes are prepared lovingly, bringing you a genuine and wholesome meal. Chef Christophe's Cooking Classes take you on a gastronomic journey through France. Special truffle season, French patisserie and Christmas cooking classes are also on offer. Chef Christophe and his wife Josephine also offer a food & wine tour like no other - a unique opportunity to travel and visit beautiful Alsace and Les Vosges in France. Josephine and Christophe are hosts having a lifelong experience of the cuisine, wine and people. The tour includes a host of regional food and wine experiences with visits to many picturesque towns and villages of the region and places of spectacular natural beauty including the famous 120 km Route des Vins, Alsace.

My husband and I went to Le Tres Bon for the first time last night. It was a wonderful experience, freshly prepared food, not pre-cooked like many restaurants.
The atmosphere was cosy, relaxed and intimate. The restaurant continued through the evening being filled with warmth and humor provided by our hostess Josephine. The meals were spaced out but this a very minor price to pay for excellent fresh and beautifully prepared dishes.
On leaving we were farewelled by both the Chef and our hostess once again a lovely way to finish off an evening. We will definitely being going back for a very long time and can highly recommend the experience to anyone.

Great French provincial cuisine, cosy cottage setting with cheery ambience. Went there for our anniversary and was treated to a superb feast by the friendly chef and owner Christophe. Friendly service, great food and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Place is an absolute gem. Simple, uncomplicated menu that might not change often but is worked to perfection. It's a little family business so waits on food are expected - if you whinge about how long you had to wait for your mains you obviously don't belong. It's not really a restaurant it's more like youre having dinner at your mum's place - if your mum can cook well that is. Worth all money and time.
You won’t regret to visit this beautiful French restaurant in Bungendore. The food will tell you everything.
