The 2018 Western Australian Circus Festival will be held in January in Karridale near Margaret River starting on Australia Day - Friday 26th January- Sunday 28th 2018 The Lunar Circus Summer School will be held 8th - 12th January 2018 15th-19th January 2018 Festival training 21st - 25th January 2017 tenth year, has evolved and grown into a three-day annual event full of circus, comedy, theatre, cabaret, and music. Each year has brought an ever-growing crowd as well as international and home grown performers. This year is the 10th year and will be massive. We have our new Big Top, the Lunar Sensation so no-one will miss out on the big shows. The festival itself has a focus on theatrical marvels of skill and strength. Each performer and troupe brings a unique aesthetic, from ninja themed juggling to angelic aerials and everything in between. There's family fun, workshops, market stalls and even the opportunity to have a go on the flying trapeze. to go The bar is open, with a selection of cocktails, spirits and locally brewed beers and locally supplied wines. Our sponsor, Bootleg Brewery, has created the Lunar Lager available on tap from the Reg Bolton Bar. Circus takes a risqué turn with the late night cabaret and sideshows not for the faint of heart. There will be something for everyone, so come with your friends and familes and celebrate the 2017 Western Australian Circus Festival.
