We are proud to be a part of the Maryland Twisters family!!!!!! My daughter has been cheering there for 6 years and we love it! The owner, Tara, is very responsive and involved with all the teams. The office staff is beyond helpful with all my questions. If you want your athlete to be the best at this sport, I highly recommend Maryland Twisters. They offer classes, privates, and 1/2 year teams too. Can't wait for next season to start!

My daughter has been a MD Twister for 9 seasons. She came to this gym when she was 6 and has never wanted to cheer anywhere else. She has built wonderful friendships with athletes and coaches, some that will be lifelong. The coaches are the BEST in the business. The environment is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where she always feels like she’s at home when she walks in the doors. The office and pro shop staff are amazing, always very helpful! I would highly recommend MDT to anyone who wants their athlete to be trained by the best in a friendly, safe and caring environment. We have always felt like family here!

My daughter is finishing up her 2nd year at Maryland Twisters! Even though we have closer options and it's an hour + drive each way, it's worth every minute of our time. Everything about the process is so organized - they have amazing communication and well thought out processes. At competitions, I cry every time I stand among OUR fans as we cheer on all the teams from Mini Level Ones to the super exciting Level 6 teams. It's been a great experience for my daughter!

So much talent in one place! If you are looking for exceptional ballet training, this is the place to go! The staff is amazing! They meet each dancer where they are and help them grow. They also are an amazing community. All of the teachers and alumni are always willing to help the current dancers. They are a wealth of advice and information!

My daughter LOVES her dance classes at MYB. She is normally shy but really comes out of her shell in dance class. We can't wait to sign her up for next year, too!

This is a fantastic place. The studio is very nice and well kept in a very nice and convenient area. The teachers are top notch. They are very good and explaining and ensuring everyone is getting the most out of their classes. There's also a great selection of classes.

I had the best two years of my life at University of Maryland. UMD gave me all opportunities to succeed, great research school and average tuition costs. Diverse student population and very close to DC. Surrounded by lots of companies in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia which is a great advantage.

I recently started a donation drop-off event for our clients in our offices to bring us new or used clothing for women and feminine products to be delivered to the Mary & Martha house. Our clients went above and beyond and gave us different sized women's clothing from young children to elderly women, ranging in sizes small to XXL. We were elated to drop off our donations to women in need but was extremely surprised by how we were treated by the employees. I called the business a month ago to obtain all necessary information and was only told what to bring and where they were located. I even explained to the employee how I was having all 3 of our offices partake. When I called today to let them know we'd be dropping off items, I was treated with disrespect. The lady didn't seem interested or even happy that I was bringing the donations they need and ask for. She instead made me feel like an inconvenience and explained that they're only accepting 2 bags per person to drop off. I wasn't disclosed of any of this information at all when I called the 1st time. When we dropped off our items the workers were complaining how it was too much stuff and the women we interacted with was extremely rude. This is HORRIBLE customer service and how are you working for a non-profit when you could care less about actually helping women in need? We were trying to do a good deed and help people especially during COVID and we're treated like this? So unacceptable. We'll be delivering donations to another establishment in the future, I just feel for the women missing out on how we can help them get back on their feet.

I donate regularly, household item's & clothing as well as shop for items/furniture needed for my personal use or a family member. Mary Martha House is a great contributor to those in need of safety and path redirection. They are a great example of humanatarism.

Found the prices to be high. Set up beautifully, like a boutique. Can find much better prices elsewhere with quality items. The lady in front taking donations was quite rude.

So far so good! My daughter just arrived there for fall term. It's a new world, and they are extremely strict about guests there now. I completely understand and appreciate that! Nice urban campus, just wish there were more of necessities nearby for someone there without a car.

Very nice campus and well-kept buildings and grounds. I was impressed by how well organized the move-in day was and just how smoothly we were able to take care of business. I'm looking forward to more visits in the future.

FLOODING!! Most streets are dry; we don’t have drains so the water can’t recede. It is brackish, dead critters are floating, there is debris and the mosquitoes are on the loose. Every attempt for relief is another pat Email response. People on our street are stuck, some who are elderly, due to the depth of the water. We need help! Where are you after so many attempts for help?!

Terrific experience and so well run. Counselors were tops too there camps. Steve is so kind to the kids and they really experience different activities every day. My daughter had a hard time deciding which one was her favorite. The ropes course, biking, kayaking, and games day were an absolute blast. Thank you for running such an organized, fun filled camp with great staff.

Our child had an incredible one week of camp (first time camper) and highly recommend this camp for the diversity of “adventures”, the safety measures taken and the overall professionalism of the owner Steve Fox. We will definitely be a repeat camper family in 2020!

What a great camp! Perfect for my 8 and 10 year old son and daughter -- a nice mixture of kids and ages, different activities every day, engaged and kind counselors. They loved the friends they made and experiences they had, and Steve and the counselors are warm and organized, making it an easy and enjoyable experience for parents and kids alike. A nice low key camp where the kids had a great time and we were able to enjoy afternoons together -- the fact that it's only a half day is very nice. We will definitely be back and recommend this camp to others!
