We had an amazing time, seeing far off stars and close up views of the moon, Saturn and Jupiter. It gives you a new perspective on just how small we are, and how big the universe really is.
This place has amazing sessions about astronomy. You can witness planes , stars , galaxy supernova from your naked eye. The sessions starts with the day break. You’re briefed with a wonderful presentation about astronomy and then directed to the observation area where around 10 different types of telescopes are mounted. The staff focuses on different terrestrial objects and you get turns to observe from your naked eye. Amazing experience for everyone.
This is our second visit here, absolutely love it. It's such a well set-up observatory for tourists and space enthusiast. So much amazing mind blowing factual information given. Love the time Peter gives in showing, explaining and educating us with his amazing knowledge. The telescopes are incredible, massive and mind blowing on their own. We totally love it here and highly recommend.
Best for kids - all African animals .. lovely Zoo in Australia
