Ettingshausens is a Dance, Theatre and Martial Arts centre. It has been operating in the Sutherland Shire for over 20 years. Video's on this channel have been taken during classes, workshops and competitions and gives a sample of some of the activities that take part at Ettingshausens. There are two premises at Kirrawee and the facility has 12 studios. We offer three Pre school programs - Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet and Ninja Fit. We also offer classes in Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acting, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Boys Funk, Boys Stomp, and JFH. In Martial Arts we have Karate, Brazilian Jiujitsu, Kids Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness. Ettingshausens is also an RTO - 40539 and runs Certificate IV courses in Dance Performance and Dance Teacher Management The centre is owned and operated by Michael and Natalie Ettingshausen. My daughter started dancing at Ettingshausens at 12 after being at another studio since the age of 4. The change for us was daunting but exciting. From the minute we walked through the door her passion for dance was reignited. The welcome we received from Miss Nat, Miss Kaye and the whole admin team was so supportive. My daughters exposure to world class teachers and choreographers, dancing alongside students with her same drive has seen her technique, strength, stage performance and confidence improve beyond anything we could have hoped for.
We have been a part of the Ettingshausens family for over 7 years, with one daughter currently in their junior school and the other in their amazing preschool program.
The variety of classes on offer allow children every opportunity to find a style, or in our case styles, they love and work with world class choreographers and teachers to develop their skills and technique. A strong leadership team headed by Michael and Natalie Ettingshausen have set high standards of professionalism for all teachers within their faculty to follow. An extremely helpful front desk and administration team provide regular and clear communication and newsletters, making it easy for this working mum to know what’s on.
With so many lovely families sending their children to Ettingshausens, it makes sense that our daughter’s have developed friendships with so many kids and really look up to the senior students who set a fantastic example for them.
I highly recommend Ettingshausens - they are the best Martial Arts and Performing Arts Studio in the Sutherland Shire and St George Area (actually I would say the entire Sydney region).
Our close friend's daughter attends this school studying dancing and singing and we had the greatest pleasure of seeing the Broadway performance on Saturday afternoon at NIDA. The students were amazing, very polished and incredibly talented, which is a credit to this school. So many different acts and each one incredibly entertaining. We were very proud of our young friend and all her contemporaries. I would pay to see this show even if I didn't know anyone it in. Well done ETTINGSHAUSENS Dance Theatre Martial Arts.

This time last year I stepped foot in Ettingshausens for the first time. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, I didn’t know what to expect or where it would lead me.
As soon as I got in the car to go home I also received my offer of early entry into University for a Bachelor of Business. Not my dream course but still a step into uni.
It didn’t take much for me to rule out uni and to accept my Ettingshausens placement for my Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management and am I glad that is what I did!! I then continued studying and sat my HSC, got into my dream course at uni of a Bachelor of Exercise Science and deferred the course planning to go in 2019.
Now, at the exact same time as last year I have been accepted into Ettingshausens Fulltime Dance - Cert IV in Dance for 2019. If you asked me last year or even earlier on of this year I would have said that I was going to uni in 2019. Now not a chance. (Sorry Mum and Dad)
I am SO glad I kept following my life long passion of dancing and that I took that step into Ettingshausens. I am SO grateful for the people I have met, the choreographers I have had the chance to take class with and work with, the opportunities that I have received, and of course the girls I have the privilege of working with every day this year.
SO much can happen in a year and I am so so grateful for each and every thing so far and I can’t wait to see where next year takes me ✨
Ettingshausens is the best dance school in Sydney ! It has new studios including soft Spring floors and includes a safe, professional and fun learning environment. You can do martial arts, singing, musical theatre, acting, acrobatics and dance . EVERYONE is so welcoming, I would recommended to come trial some classes !
