Teacher was great. Wont be going there anymore though after an issue with their accounts. Telling me when I pay that it's gone through to find out they never processed the transactions. After letting me know that I owe X amount I said I cant pay all upfront. Kids first proceeded to take the total amount without permission and left a single Dad out of pocket and unable to afford the following session for my child. They never reply to voicemails and the building is very uninviting.
Extremely unhelpful staff. Customer experience was very poor with staff making various insinuations.
I just wanted to thank the team at kids first who really helped me with my son . They have given me the tools and confidence to help my son with his writing skills. I could not recommend kids first enough as they create a space that is fun and calm for the kids ( and parents!).
Be prepared to spend at least 1 hour on questioners before you come. Then, when you come for the first session - they will speak 95% of the time to a parent(s), not a child. So the outcome of the first session is none and what’s worst, you still have to pay for it. The receptionist said it’s “gap free”, however, turned out it’s not (as really depends on your insurance). After first session we haven’t yet been back as no suitable time slots available and to be honest I am not convinced we need this service. Facility is quite worn our. I strongly believe they could do better than this, eg structure the initial consult so that intro and therapy are both possible, plus, if the paperwork is done in advance, why do we need to go through same stuff at the initial session?
They really take the time to get to know your child and offer many services to suit each individual. It's a really warm and welcoming family environment!
