The little rustic cabin in the smokies: imagine stepping back in time to pioneer days where you lived with the earth, bathed outdoors, and life was centered around the seasons. That is what this little slice of natural bliss is like. A perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. Highly recommend!
What an incredible place for a father-son getaway! It's almost hard to beleive such a place exists where you can enjoy a safe environment to learn and test your offroad abilities and a place to shoot your firearms as well. My son and I spent a couple of hours on the firing range which we had all to ourselves and then enjoyed the trails we felt comfotable driving. We got our Jeep stuck, which was perfect becuase we learned how to use our new winch to self recover. Dan is laid back, an excellent communicator, and a great guy to work with. We will be back!
One word: wow! Had the opportunity to check in with Dan and visit Outdoors in the Smokies to test out my new suspension; was not disappointed! Dan was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The trails on his property were well-maintained and of varying difficulty, and my wife and I had a blast pushing my rig up and down steep grades, across washouts, and over some nice rocks and ridges.
Well worth traveling for (we came in from visiting Gatlinburg) and absolutely worth the reasonable price, whether this is your first attempt at off-roading in a new vehicle or you’re a salty vet. We spent a good two hours circling around, taking different approaches, doing recon, and hitting our favorite spots a few times. Can’t wait to visit again next time we’re in town.
Dan was amazing...super nice and checked on us while on the trail to make sure we were good. The trails were so much fun and well kept. We did this for about 1-2 hours with our kids. They loved it! Will definitely be back. Thank you Dan for an amazing experience.
After traversing several OHV off road parks throughout the Southeast, its easy to recognize right away that Outdoors in the Smokies is a strut above the rest. Dan serves up personal attention from the start, while giving you the freedom to explore the property's well marked, properly rated, and immaculately maintained trails. Suited perfectly for Jeep drivers beginner to advanced; and even provides ample trails suitable for technically experienced Raptor drivers. 65 acres is all the space you need to explore, test your lines, and circle back around to take a few repeat runs on your favorite trails.
