Beautiful neighborhood. I enjoyed the atmosphere with friends. I like the shrimp appetizer, very tasty. The new management is getting the place together, he is doing a great job. He is also friendly.

Excellent prime rib tonight.
Went yesterday late afternoon with my daughter. We had a great time. The staff was friendly and the fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape. The greens need a lot of work and more time to grow in, but were rolling true. The layout of this course is one of a kind. I haven't been there since the new ownership took over. They're doing a great job with bringing the course back to what it once was when I played it for the first time 12 years ago. One of my favorite places to play in VA. I'll be back for sure.

Not one nearing a quarter century.
93F today (6/4/20) and with Covid there's no coolers permitted on the course. Plan well ahead with 2 gallons of water on your cart.
Except for Black Tee on 10th (we always play from tips) the boxes, fairways and greens were like a brand new course. Grounds Team were working on rebuilding green collars on 6 & 10.
Greens rolled true if a bit slower than most as they are young Bentgrass taking root.
No scabs, ballmarks or Poa Annua anywhere!

Great craft beers at the turn and the best Bacon/Tomato/Cheese on Rye we've ever had.
Negatives:
Not many.. Men's room needs a total makeover. Good Grief. $63/round doesn't seem too much for the course conditions and Strantz Design but the bathroom was insulting.
