Went into this store because I was freezing, and needed a fleece. Was greeted by a friendly girl, and pointed out some fleeces that were on sale. Not realizing they were about to close, apparently sizing and locking the door is more important than making a sale. Tried on a few options, they were definitely the right styles at the right price. Could have used some help deciding on a size, as this is a Brand I do not own a jacket from. Did not buy anything, and was a cold walk back to my hotel.
I love shopping here. North Face gear is awesome. The staff is world-class, and I have a great time every time I show up.
The manager was our sales person. Pedro made our shopping both easy & fun. My son & husband both have a friendly banter manner that is offputting to some people. Pedro just fell right into it with them. Went to the back on several items to find the correct item or size.
I get that we are on the eve of winter coat season here in KC, and I definitely can appreciate a solid winter coat, but that was the bulk of what was available, at least for menswear. North Face has a pretty diverse selection of goods, and I suppose I was expecting a wider selection. That's probably just on me for having expectations set before hand. If you need northface for it's outdoor products I'd probably recommend looking elsewhere. If you desire it for a fashion forward statement, then this store would probably fit the bill, which does make sense being located on the plaza.
If you have the chance or opportunity to visit the store on the Country Club Plaza, ask for Pedro. I personally am not a label person, so I keep low key. Now my wife, well, she likes fashion. Pedro was the second associate we encountered. He cared for my wife, helping in any way possible. Then he explained the "Brand" policy. After the quality of service from Pedro, I didn't mind the cost of the Brand. Plus, my wife loves the pants and matching coat/jacket. That's what matters most to me.Thanks Pedro
