We love this place. We have been there twice with Girl Scouts and the owner amazes me how she is personal with every single student she has. She remembers their names and really gives them the individual attention . I highly recommend going here.

This is an outstanding high school from top to bottom. My son has received a well rounded education at Loyola Blakefield that has included the right balance of academic, spiritual, and extra curricular activities. My son's teachers have inspired him to reach higher and push further than what he thought possible. It's obvious that they really know how to teach teenage boys. One example is Mr. Brendan Bailey, my son's freshman English teacher. He really knew how to connect with my son and his classmates, and in this era of endless social media options and youtube, his class read over 8 books during the course of the year while simultaneously expanding upon vocabulary and grammar skills. Mr. Bailey is but one example of the high quality of teachers at Loyola Blakefield. It's been obvious to me that my son's teachers love what they do and truly care for the students. Additionally, Murray Center is a wonderful option for students with learning differences. The Murray teachers have such compassion and know how to help the boys help themselves. Most importantly, they encourage the boys to advocate for themselves and come to the realization that it is okay to ask for assistance. I have only one regret involving Loyola Blakefield. It's that I'm not an alumnus. Roll Dons!

Love this place, I just got accepted a couple months ago, Staff is so nice, great campus and a lot more you learn education and how To be or act for your older years. And No one Listen to the there are bullying students they are using you so Calvert hall is better and they are both great schools but I love Loyola and with a great school the staff, principle, head of admissions would never let Bullying Happen. #rolldonsroll

In less than two days, management responded to me. We were not in 100% agreement, but I was heard and acknowledge. I can't ask for anything else. Management is excellent and runs a quality fitness center.

I notice them cleaning and sanatizing almost everything when I go in now. Really happy about that. Sometimes its a little too hot, and they are not turning on the ceiling fans, so there is little air circulation. And I don't like the tiny showers. Not sure how handicapped or obese people can shower now.

I'm currently a Junior at NDM. I'm orginally from Southern Maine but I really enjoy going to school in Baltimore. Notre Dame has given me a great experience to grow as a student and as a leader. I have been President of Dance Team for three years now, and there are so many other student leadership opportunities available on campus. I am also a Nursing major, and I believe I will be more than prepared to join the nursing field by the time I graduate. The Nursing department and faculty here are extremely knowledgeable and approachable and want all of their students to succeed.

The Business Office is lazy. Financial Aid is useless and Erika Elie is unprofessional. Their "Student Aid Process" is a headache. The food provided by SAGE is garbage at best and the staff is rude. Horrible school. Room and Board is overpriced for what you get. Don't apply here! Waste of money!!!!!!!

Best school for teachers who are having certification challenges. I spent nearly 8 years trying to get certification reciprocity from another state. From local counties, I had been told I needed 28 credits to teach Middle Grades Math, 39 for Tech Ed, both critical need. Other universities said to find out what MSDE said I needed and come back. Notre Dame mapped out 4 different pathways with their ACT Accelerated Certification in Teaching program. The lowest was 4 classes, and I am choosing the 6 classes which are directly related to my work.

I’m an adult athlete and have never really played golf but wanted to be able to join my boyfriend in tournaments, etc. I’ve taken lessons before but Owen is by far the best. He’s extremely patient and kind but also gets right down to business and doesn’t put up with my whining about how frustrating the game is, which I like! I’m also so much better and more confident after only a few lessons. I thoroughly enjoy working with him — he makes the game fun and is all around a great person!

I have had private lessons and, most recently, participated in a month long weekly golf clinic of 3-4 participants with Owen Dawson and found it to be most helpful. Owen is a very creative, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable golf swing professional. His style of teaching includes review of the basics, and a very thorough presentation of golf swing techniques which often includes using various creative tools to further support the learning. Owen, also, provides one to one support and guidance to each participant, equally, throughout our practice time and encourages self-reflection about our game, working hard to help us adjust our personal styles to incorporate the new techniques. I am thrilled with the impact Owen’s instruction has had on my game and feel more confident playing with others, as a result.

Owen has been great to work with. He has an incredible understanding of the golf swing and is able to explain things in ways that I understand. He has all the tools and technology to provide feedback both during and after the lesson. For the first time in a long while I’m encouraged that my game will improve because of my lessons with him. I would recommend him to anyone of any skill level looking to get better at golf.

I wish I didn't have to give this camp a star because it certainly does not deserve one. This camp was NOT at all what we, myself and 3 sisters, expected it to be. Please be mindful that I can only speak on the Stemmers Run location because that was where my son and nephews attended the camp. From reading their website and how they emphasized that the camp was "a sports camp, not a day camp", we expected a lot more than our sons running around in the gym and watching movies all day. My son and one of my nephews attended the camp for football and my other 2 nephews attended the camp for basketball. Considering that the boys range in ages from 7 up to 14 and attending for different sports, there was no reason why they should have spent all day together. The website details a structured daily itinerary of sports work outs and activities. I can count on one hand how many times my son said they actually did any football work outs or drills within the 3 weeks he attended. The children were suppose to go on 3 trips each week, skating, swimming, and bowling. Each week my sister asked about swimming and was told that they were still looking for a pool for the campers to attend. Now if you're advertising that these kids are going to go swimming every week, a pool location should have been scheduled and locked in before camp even started. Not one week that our boys attended did they go bowling either. Then due to poor adult supervision, the camp was not allowed to return to the skating rink because several campers broke a vending machine by constantly shaking it to make the snacks fall out. A couple of other campers broke a projector at the school because they were running around playing and knocked it over. My son broke his ankle because he and a few other boys were playing tackle football in the gym without any pads or protection. Not one camp staff member could have been paying any attention for any of those incidents to have happened. Every time my sisters or I arrived to pick the boys up, the camp staff was sitting on the bleachers in the gym on his/her cell phone. Then to add fuel to fire, the 4th week of camp the location was moved and none of the parents were informed. We found out Monday morning when we went to drop the boys off that the camp was being relocated to the Fullerton location. I will never support this camp again. After the 3rd week, our boys didn't want to go back. Once the location was changed, that was the end for us.

In 2019 we decided we wanted to change our 6 year old from public to private school, to start 1st grade for the 2019-2020 school year. We also had another son who would be starting preschool in the 2020-2021 year, so we were looking into this aspect of the school as well. We toured St Joseph's of Fullerton in March of 2019. The tour was amazing the staff made us feel so welcomed. Our son was a little shy the first time we toured the school. They allowed us to come back a second time because our son felt more comfortable and was ready to ask some questions. St Joseph's was hands down our first choice to send our sons. The first day of school our 1st grader came out of the building telling us he had a great day and thinks we made a great choice. When we had to start virtual learning in March of 2020 the staff didn't miss a beat. The technology they used in class, such as Seesaw and Prodigy were used and integrated at home. I never felt like my son was missing out on any learning experience, except actually being in the classroom. Both of our kids are now at St Joseph's. A 2nd grader and Prek 4 student, who are both participating in, in person learning this school year. The plan they have put in place for in person learning has been great. We feel our kids are safe and able to learn in person at the same time. I love that they also have options for parents who do not feel comfortable, at this moment, to send their kids to school. There is technology in each classroom that allows for the kids at home and the kids in the classroom to interact with each other. Our preschooler has never been in a school or daycare setting, until this school year. With the new rules of Covid put into place, parents were not allowed to enter the school on the meet the teachers day. The teachers were great at making the kids feel comfortable at the door so they felt great walking into this new world on their own. Everyday my preschooler comes out excited from his day. For our family we knew the best thing was for our preschooler to learn in person. One thing we were nervous about was for him to wear a mask all day. This has not even fazed him. He never mentions the mask when he talks about his day. He doesn't fight to put it on. He just knows this is the way his world needs to work right now. Our choice to send our boys to St Joseph's has been one of the best decisions. The sense of community and care the staff have towards the children and family members is amazing. Both of my kids love going to school every day at St Joseph's.

I have two children that are enrolled at St. Joseph Fullerton. I cannot say enough good things about this school. Their pre-k program is creative and engaging. The teachers get them started on a schedule that is both conducive and creates a joy to learning. I know that my son will be ready for kindergarten and will look forward to going to school. My daughter started in kindergarten and is now in second grade. We have loved each teacher and class she has learned so much, even with virtual school being sprung on us the last half of 2020. The school is doing an amazing job of keeping our kids safe and giving a wonderful option for virtual learning. The community of St Joseph Fullerton must also be mentioned. There is a real camaraderie with the parents and staff at the school. I feel comfortable asking any of the administration a question knowing that it will be answered quickly and thoroughly.
